How to Teach

It is not teacher's fault that they, most likely, were not taught the intricacies of teaching an explicit phonic program at a University level. The prevailing belief is that phonics is too complicated or confusing for children to learn. Nothing could be further from the truth. Phonic patterns ORGANIZES reading instruction into step-by-step, systematic "patterns". In this program 44 explicit Lessons is much easier than memorizing 250,000 words in a  hit or miss, meaning and or context (GUESSING) approach to reading!
